Everly, an American folk duo, made their debut in 2008 in Battleground, Washington. The group was comprised of two close friends: Amber Sweeney and Bethany Joy Lenz. The two friends saw immediate success as their albums were sold successfully online. The two had a short-lived career together and recently split up.

Because they only made a limited amount of music during their careers, people have found it increasingly hard to find their albums online. Their music can no longer be found on iTunes or Amazon.

Fans can still find their music on CDbaby.com. Their widely popular album entitled “Fireside” can be found immediately when searching for the Everly Group on their website.

Individual downloads are still available from third party sources. Soundtracks for the show “One Tree Hill” are great sources for their individual songs because some of their tracks were used during the show.

Both the members of this group are planning to continue their careers in music. While it may be impossible to hear these two sing together in a live concert, they will likely tour the United States on an individual basis.

The Everly Brothers were born in Kentucky and Chicago and raised by their musical family. Ike Everly their father used to work in the coal mines of Kentucky but always had a yearning for country music. Ike played guitar in a country music band and word spread about him to Chicago, Illinois where the family moved in 1939 to make the country music scene there. Time passed and Ike was offered his own radio show. The show became known as the Everly Family Show. Their mother Margaret would read the commercials and sometimes join in the singing. The boys were introduced to the guitar and singing by their father at a very early age. Eventually, the family made the move to Shenandoah, Iowa. Their home there is now a museum to the family.
The brothers had their first #1 hit on the Country Charts with “Bye Bye Love” at the time it was also #5 on the R&B Charts. Their fame gave them the good fortune to play at the Grand Ole Oprey in 1957. They still hold the record for the top 100 singles by a duo. They have a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California and in 2001 they were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

For seven seasons, Lenz played a lead role on the celebrated television drama, “One Tree Hill.”. Everly songs featured on the hit series introduced the pair to fans.

Everly’s single “Feel This” was the first Everly song to be featured on “One Tree Hill.” The song instantly broke the top 20 on the folk charts on iTunes after being on the show. The success of the single led to the release of Everly’s first album.

The 2008 release of the duo’s freshman album “Mission Bell” included popular hits, “Home is me-You Are Mine” and “Karen’s Cafe.” Lenz and Sweeney followed up the success of “Mission Bell” with the digitally-released singles including, “Quicksand” and “Maybe.”

Many people enjoy music for various reasons. Music is a part of our everyday lives and the fact that it can connect so many people together and make us feel so many emotions is amazing. However, discovering new music can be difficult for those who do not know where to look. For those who like a certain type of genre such as folk or alternative rock, nothing can be more irritating than trying to find new artists. Luckily, there are many resources that one can turn to that can help in the search for new music.

For those that are familiar with One Tree Hill, the music can oftentimes be very fitting for the show and can lead to some great discoveries. Everly is an American band that found it’s way onto the show in the form of a famous song, but many people do not know how the band got started. Bethany Joy Lenz and Amber Sweeney, the only two members of the group, decided to form the band after finding that two songwriters are stronger together than alone. Before the formation of the band, the two both wrote songs separately for many years, but since coming together have found a new strength with well-crafted songs that speak to many people.
